Hello and welcome to AnimalSource!

We're so excited to share our site with you. Our goal is to simplify the search for animal-related resources in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. While the site is primarily focused on LA County, we've gathered some key resources in the surrounding counties, from Santa Barbara all the way to San Diego. Over time, we'll be adding more entries, so stay tuned for updates!

The 5K race is a run, trot, or walk open to all levels of physical fitness. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers as well as for best costumes. Proceeds will support The National Museum of Animals & Society, the first museum of its kind dedicated to enriching the lives of animals and people through exploration of our shared experience. Pre-registration is encouraged! Cost: $25 Adults; $12.50 Kids $30 On-site registration (7:30-8:30 am race day) *Participants are asked to bring non-perishable, vegan food and other donations for the homeless and their animal companions.
