Provides animal control and rescue services in all unincorporated County areas and 50 contract cities through its six county Animal Care Centers.

See individual shelter for list of cities and county areas. Animal care centers are located in Agoura, Baldwin Park, Castaic, Downey, Gardena, and  Lancaster. Cats, dogs, and other animals are available for adoption at each shelter.

Licenses are available for purchase at all county animal shelters. Cat license requirements vary by area.
